While the officers were investigating the crash, they saw that the suspect, who caused the crash, was nowhere to be found, officials reported.
Police soon found the suspect nearby, who had fled the scene with his 2-year-old daughter, and determined he was intoxicated, authorities said.
The daughter had no injuries and was turned over to a family member, investigators added.
